When I stand in the shower, it is tempting to let the water run... and run... and run...
Water is just so soothing when it cleans your body. So when I am feeling conscious, I would turn off the tap when I am soaping. :P

make sure that all of the pipe lines and its joints are free of leaks and tightly fastened so that water can't be wasted. if one is not capable of fixing one can call the plumber so as not to make further damage

The best way to conserve water is to protect its source - trees, plants, grass and herbs. So, if indeed we are seriously taking consideration of conserving water for life, let us all make it a point to plant trees, plants, grass and herbs and take care of them all. If we cut our consumption of water by just observing those rules, we are only cutting our consumption but in no way are we contributing to the maintenance of the water cycle. Therefore, let us all do our share, plant those trees in our back, front and sideyards and the sidestreets. Maintaining a garden is good, too, even potted plants help a lot.
