why study abroad?

now a days, more and more students choose to attend schools or university outside. thier home countries. then why studying abroad is so attractive to people even thiugh it is often means a ghreater expense and more difficulties? beacuse those students are bound to be\nefit considerably from their foreign study experience.

Its a common nature of human to like things that are not easy to get. Studying abroad is not an affordable thing for normal people and it becomes attractive.
If someone ask which is the oldest university..most people will say Oxford or something like that. But the oldest documented university is Thashashila in India or Shang Hsiang in China. Most of the people will never ever think that such countries had the concept of university even before others thought of it.
But now even now many from china and India wish to go abroad for studies..
