its not good to dislike americans for what the US goverment is doing. But for sure they should be able to control their government for doing rubbish things. They have to force the government to consider the peoples attitude towards any issues. if they are not doing then its natural that others will be blaming the people for that.

Thank you, also, for this intelligent comment. Hopefully our next election will help to change what is going on in our government. The bottom line, as you are smart enough to point out, is that the American people are not the issue here. We are not stupid because the world disagrees with the decisions made by our current president and his administration.

I do not blame the American people for George Bush's actions. If majority voted for Bush, it does not mean that they all agree with the U.S. government policies. Let's not espouse dislike for something or someone we do not know. That's all I can say to you.

Thank you! It's good to see that someone can separate the issues and see them clearly. If someone wants to discuss Bush or his policies, that's one thing. But let's not start throwing insults at Americans; that's a cowardly way out.

It's obvious that you don't like Americans much, which is OK. That's your perogative. But to say that Americans are stupid, or even that the Americans who voted for Bush are stupid, is an ignorant thing to say. The Americans who did vote for Bush did so because they sincerely felt that he was the best person for the job. Plain and simple. That is the way our democratic system works. Unfortunately many people made a mistake, but how could that have been predicted? A mistake DOES NOT equal stupidity!! Some extremely intelligent people voted for Bush, just as some extremely intelligent people voted against him. Hopefully everybody voted for the candidate that they felt would be the best man for the country. I would be willing to bet that by 2009 people will be on here criticizing Americans for whoever is elected president in 2008. I just wish that people would stick to the real issues. If your issue is with Bush and the policies that his administration has made, then why not state that and we'll discuss the issues. Why do you have to start throwing insults at Americans instead? How do you expect that to be a discussion? Should we say that all Brits are stupid morons if we don't like Tony Blair???
