It's taken me 4 years to even make an appointment to see a doctor to get a papsmear test done. When I was pregnant with my youngest daughter, they found "odd cells" and when they did further testing they said that they could be malignant, but because of the hormones during pregnancy that they could not tell for sure.

When I was 16, I found a lump behind my right ear. I knew what it was. My family seems plagued with cancer. When I was 21 I finally had the tumors removed. Three of them. One was the size of a Canteloup, one the size of a grapefruit, and the little one the size of an orange. They were malignant. I was told that I would live about 7 years unless I had a radical surgery that would make me look like the Bride of Frankenstein. Being only 21, I preferred NOT to do this. At 30 I found another lump and at that time had my thyroid removed. I'm now 45 and only the second person in my family to have survived cancer. I am very well aware of the term "Cancer Scare." I was terrified! I'm so very glad you found that it was "nothing."
