India - DO you think a Superpower?

I think if a country would to become a superpower, it must be stable and advance in more terms of technology. Their economy can provide for the needs of their people and the government has a positive response from the outsiders. If this is met, then a country could be a candidate to become a superpower..

Yes we really wish and want India to be a superpowe but i feel ther is a loong loong way to go .. especially I can say that when I have been to US . The economic development of India very true but how many of Indians are really benifited out of it ?? very few .. We need years together to be the superpower .... not in near future buddy thats for sure.. i wish we were

Well It doesnt seem to me. But you know todays super power nations also face such problems too! Do you think there is no corruption and poverty in USA? Its indeed there but under control! People there too is facing price soarings, tax hiking too! Life of a common men is not good there too! So why to worry man? same conditions are here too! and If USA is a super power than some day even we can be too!, cant we? We are still very behind in Defence and Space technology. When we will be at par to USA in such technology, we will be also super power!

things are changing progressively in a positive manner... education is showing its effects now ... awareness has increased ... purchasing power has also increased in all i would say indian economy will become a super power much earlier than india as a whole ... poverty, population and politics {3 cursed P's} has ruined the otherwise indian growth ... india is full of potential human resource and incredible talent ...

yes i think that india will become the superpower very soooon ! i can say that because people of india are very talented n they are spreaded around the world ! even though the population is more then also india will be ahead i think.
