Chicken and Dumplings question

I have never made or ever had Chicken and Dumplings before. So tonight will be my first time making it. What elese do I serve with this dish to make it a filling dinner?

Chicken and Dumplings is a filling meal on its own, but I would serve a fresh tossed garden salad on the side. One tip I might give since this is the first time you are making it is to keep your dumplings small as they really poof up when added to your chicken pot. Losts of onion, celery and carrots and peas in your stock and you really have a one pot, fullfilling dinner. Good luck with it and enjoy.
