For centuries now, scientists and religious groups have been debating on how this earth came to be. Both parties have plenty of evidences but it is still the same question about the chicken and the egg. For me the chicken came first because if it were not so, who would take care of the egg? And the question now is, where do the chicken came from? That i do not know...what do you think?

That question is easily answered through evolution.
2 psudo-chickens ( birds resembling chickens but not quite chickens ) mate & lay an egg. This egg has evolved slightly from its parents into the first chicken. Since this chicken did hatch from an egg that egg is a chicken egg. Since his parent's weren't actually chickens the egg came first.
You should also read up on the definition of evidence. Science establishes evidence. Religion is based on belief. I'm not disporving any religion but they need to be able to update themselves as new ACTUAL evidence comes about otherwise they become completely unbelievable.
I like to think of it this way.
Religion attemps to explain the will & drive behind the creation of the universe ( be it a god, goddess, group of gods , supreme being or whatever). Science attemps to discover the history , rules & how these things came to pass.
