Purple Heart paperwork!

I am wanting to surprise my Father on his anniversary with his paperwork where the Army awarded him his Purple Heart. Where would I go to find the paperwork or who would I need to write to, to get the paperwork sent to me. the reason I am asking is that when my father was given his Purple Heart he was given no paperwork attesting to his award.
