i have come across so many discussions lately of peole posting as their slogan..
THIS EARNS MORE THAN MYLOT check it out..
now not being funny here..but Mylot to me is like the host and is inviting us to eat at their house..for me that is like going to someone's house and saying to the guests in front of the host..come on guys i know where you can get better grub than here..
what does that sound like?
i believe that manners are priceless and even if other sites maybe poaying more than mylot..i think it ia bit ill mannered on the mylot site to post the slogan as such..just to promote the site..i can understand but i find it distasteful to put on the mylot site..come on over here pays more than mylot..
do you agree?
maybe i am a bit sensitive and grateful to mylot to feel this way..i just wanted to say how i feel..though i respect everyone's view on this and always like people's feedback even if it is different from mine..this is the whole purpose of mylot to initiate dialogue..

Discussion like that drive me up the wall.
I have seen these and know of some of the sites they refer to and other than the fact they are spamming and breaking the rules, they are also full of crap as the sites they talk about don't pay more.
Most of these people haven't even made any money and they are making these false claims hoping people with join them and make it a reality.
I just give those people a neg. rating and report them.

i just feel sad i haven't nagative rated them but i feel like being violated as a host..i know we can all make booboos and mistakes but i think it is unwise to post something that says hey this is my wife but look there is something better..not nice is it?

Very well said yanjiaren..I too don't appreciate such discussions and it isn't the right way to go about promoting something else they found. They want to get paid from myLot too and at the same time promote something else, which is very unfair. Agreed, all of us are here to make money..little or more..doesn't matter, but other sites should be promoted only through ..say with a link in their profile or something. Mylot has given us that much liberty and we shouldn't misuse it but rather make the most of it. There is one user here who has been starting atleast 3 discussions a day promoting another site, and I feel bad because that user is a very good person. I haven't summoned the courage to tell that person to stop, I sure don't want trouble or negative ratings..lol!

I just love the way you put that. you are so totally correct. it is not what you say but how you say it. and it is rude to put mylot's down so to speak to get people to check out another site like my dear mylots. cause i tell you this, if i invite someone over for dinner and they i think we can get more food at tanya's house, boy oh boy they will never eat at my house again

You know, you have a good point, although I'd never really stopped to think about it until reading your topic. I personally haven't posted 'this site pays better than Mylot', though, because I haven't found a site that's actually paying that I know pays better, lol!! I love Mylot! Not only do I hvae fun here, but I honestly have made more money than I've made almost any other way on the internet, except for with a couple of other programs that are long gone or changed now. So to me there is nothing better than Mylot on the internet right now, anyway! ^_^
I can't really exactly blame people who do post things like what you were talking about, though, since a lot of the times what they are promoting are sites like this one, and of course they know that they will have a willing audience for programs like that - and we all would love to build a great downline! *laugh* But I agree, it is a little bit distasteful.

I, myself really don't look into stuff like that. Because most of the time the sites they post are scams anyways. And you have to buy something inorder to make money. And that's not something that i'm really interested in anyways.
I do see where you are coming from, it is a little disrespectful towards the mylot website. But is there anything in the rules that says it can't be done? if not, then there's not much that we can do about it.

While I think that people are allowed to post their referral links (when it is relating to the topic), I'm pretty sure that it's going against guidelines when people start discussions such as the one you've mentioned, and include their referral link right in their own discussion. I think it's OK to talk about other money making sites here on mylot, but would agree that it's rude to compare the potential earnings and make mylot look bad.

yes thank you for posting this, i really have seen lots of people doing this, and most are trying to get more people to sign up under them, thinking they are doing the "get rich fast thing", but in fact i think that mylot should erase those posts, give them a warning, if they do it again, then ban them from the site. but its just a thought :)

I perfectly agree with you. This is a community, and those procedures are mean and cheap. If you have something intersting, go ahead, show it, but nothing justifies such a low punch like that, with your host! Just like you said.

Hi. I am loyal to mylot also but always looking for other was to earn online. I depends on earnings to help us get through in my household. I am also joined with another forum but I am active in both of them as much as I can. Some days I can only be active in one and it happens to be mylot the most. I think alot of people are just desperately seeking referrals for other programs. I can undertsand that, but we have to be careful not to spam each other.

Don't worry you're not to sensitive. And I also think it's kind of rude if they say so.I mean come this site pays you for having fun . . . They could at least be grateful to it.I don't mind if he says this to me because maybe I'm interested to check out other sites too.But this doesn't mean he has to post it here on myLot.Maybe they should look for the EXIT . . . :)) and spear us of their dum slogans like the one you gave it as an example . . . :D

I see this a lot and I think on my first day I was going to promote something else. Since being on here a while I have not done this yet. I do ask opinions of others sites though. And I make people aware of I am doing other things but I do not tell them what it is. Even on this site as of now I have not promoted it to others. I have heard others say they have been paid from it but until I see proof for myself I do not promote anything.

you've got a point, but most of us on this site are trying to earn more and if some people spread other money-paying websites, that's good. At least we're given some choice and tip-off to get more money.

I agree with you, mannerisum and dedication both should come out of your concious, only then you can call yourself a proper human. mylot is just like one of our friends with whom you have spend good time , and just because you see another more richer friend, you cannot be unfaithful to your old friend. so just to earn few more pennies, we must not ditch our true freind. Beside money here on mylot we also share our feelings, so we must respect such site.

I agree with the poster. Seeing things like that makes me uncomfortable and I wonder if that is in violation of the terms. If one wants to ethically recruit people, they can do so on their own blog spot or web page. I always think it is a bad idea to rundown the site that you are using or a member of or to say other sites are better, do that somewhere else. Even though, the people doing it are doing it for the number one motivator in the world-$$$. And everything else seems to take a backseat for them.
