No! Cobras can't hear.It looks like it is dancing because the snake charmer's hands alarm the snake as he moves near it.The snake is just getting into position to strike the hands.Do you know interesting facts about animals! Then pl. do share it!

Hello, No, cobras or any snakes don't dance to music. They are fairly deaf and only follows the movement of the charmer's hands or flute. Now I know some interesting fact about asps. They live in different parts of the world and named accordingly. For example, asps that are found in Europe are called European Asps. They are of cobra family and extremely venomous. Today in the northern coastal plane of Africa, asps can be found in plenty. These asps are called Egyptian asps. Egyptians regarded them as sacred and engraved them in the crown of pharaoh. Do you know the connection between Cleopatra and the Asp? Read http://www.bukisa.com/articles/357949_the-connection-between-cleopatra-and-cobra to find the interesting fact. Thanks. God bless you.
