It may be because the socks he's wearing doesn't circulate air well. Or maybe his food choices cause him to sweat profusely. Foot odor is caused by the feet having a lot of sweat glands which make them the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. When the bacteria feed on your skin, they release an organic acid that stinks. So if your friend can reduce the sweating of his feet, that should reduce the odor. I got this from Chris & Chat Spa at http://spaandfacialcarecenter.blogspot.com/. They also provided the top 2 homemade remedies for foot odor. Feel free to check it out.

i guess they got their foot odor because the socks that they are using are not yet wash and then they will use it again. Sometimes when a person have a sweaty feet, the tendecy of that will be having a foot odor because they are using a close shoes. it will be nice if they will wear a sandals or flipflop to prevent the bad odor that might occur to their feet.

Bacteria! A good way to decrease the problem is to always wear socks with your shoes. Going barefoot and then putting on shoes only feeds the bacteria. Also, wear only cotton or wool socks. Synthetics cause the feet to sweat. Changing the socks twice a day is very good and rotating shoes so that you do not wear the same pair of shoes every day. Use cornstarch talc on your feet before putting on socks and there are several good products to use inside the shoes. Be sure to let your feet breathe without socks whenever possible.
