Do you find that people appreciate the time you put into their cards, or are they just throwing them in the garbage with the dollar store cards from other poeple. My sister frames hers, but my grandmother throws them out. I thonk I'll buy hers from the dollar store.

personally, i make my own cards. i like giving personal things as a gift. i dont know why, but i feel better when i give something that comes out from my personal collections.

I'm not sure if the people i give my hand made cards to actually keep them, i think they keep them as keepsakes, though they don't frame them (but it sounds like a lovely idea to!). I mainly give them to close family memebers and friends, bascially to the people who i know will appreciate them! Anyone who i don't think would appreciate them or who i'm not that keen on just gets cheapo store bought cards. I've had a few hand made cards given to me which i've kept, again as keepsakes.

I usually only make cards for those I know who will appreciate it. My boyfriend keeps all the cards I ever made for him in a special box he bought especially for them. My mom also keeps all the cards I have ever made her. Sometimes I sell them online, so I know, that they are being enjoyed, othewise the people that buy my cards could have just gone elsewhere and gotten any old card.
