Whenever the pain becomes to great and I start to give up, I remember the pain Jesus went through to set us free. How can I complain about not having a job, or being sick, or hungry? Jesus was spit on, beaten, and hung on the cross; He drank from the cup of affliction so that we would not have to. So, as Jesus did before me, I lay down my will and I ask for God's will to be done. In Jesus mighty name.

Thank you for reminding me that I do not have to carry my burdens alone.
God bless!

This is why the only jewlery I wear is a small gold cross usually under my clothing close to my heart. When I think times are rough I will touch it and thank Jesus for the true pain He suffered for all of us and then say a prayer for all the people who don't know they have this comfort available.
