Dare to think beyond Internet Explorer ???

I am an Opera fan. The features , speed and security have bowled me over. Firefox is cool because of its extensions. Some more browsers I have used are K-meleon(almost as fast as Opera), Sea Monkey (for the old Netscape look), Flock (good for blogging) and Avast(very fast add-on of IE). Even though I think that Opera is the best, for those into extensions, Firefox is the browser of choice.

Like you, I too use Firefox, and rarley use IE. I agree that Opera is good too, the older versiosn were faster though. Another good browser based on IE and free is Flashpeak slimbrowser.

I absolutely recommend using alternative browsers for security purposes... In the past IE was the most popular browser, but I don't believe that is true anymore. If it still is, it is by a slim margin. I use Firefox because it is much more secure, faster, and I don't have problems with Java apps. that I had with IE. Most people that I've talked with are using Firefox or Opera. I have never tried Opera- what do you think of it?

I've used Opera for 5 years now, and I've accompanied the evolution of this wonderful browser. At first I left IE just because of security concerns, but now I couldn't even think of going back to it, Opera has too many features that I couldn't browse the web without.

Hi maverick_ind, I am currently using opera as my main browser. It is much faster when compared to other browsers. I like the overall speed performance of it. It has fast execution especially when returning back from previously visited pages. It is safe to use too. It has widgets like the add-ons of mozilla. Overall, I am so impressed and grateful with my opera browser. However, I also used mozilla and IE for sometime. Have a nice day and God speed!

may be!but i am using firefox !i begin to use this after i joined mylot!it is simply amazing!i think it is the best browser now available.it is free also easy.here is my review on this product ---easy to use and download plugins.easy to update product.unlike ie which require a genuine advantage checking! ---can be used as internet explorer by an extention called "ietab" so it is flexible ---allow tab browing(though opera and ie7 support tab browsing i like firefox for its simplicity) ---user friendly ---it is completely free! ---last but not least it has a feature of post data again when connection reset or want a refresh...so dont get irritated about typing again!

Yes u r rite,IE is the most used nd popular browser.Mozilla is equally good b'coz it has an option of tabs due to which u donot have to open different windows for opening different sites.talking abt opera browser it is the best browser while using internet on cell phone. Infact i also use IE but i use opera browser on my cell phone
