What is town or country's famous landmark?

i.e, London there is the London eye, Paris the Eiffel Tower! Share with other countries, what is it you like about it?

Big Ben is way more London's most famous landmark than the Eye. The Eye is only a few years old. It is too new to be considered a "landmark" yet. Or Parliament. But, if you said the London Eye, most people would not have a clue what you are talking about.
St. Louis has the Arch. San Francisco has the Golden Gate Bridge. San Antonio has the Alamo.
