Is there ever a such thing as a stupid/silly question/concern?

I've been told my whole life, that there's no such thing as a stupid question. Of course there's OBVIOUS questions, or questions with easy answers. I just read a few responses to a discussion here where a girl was concerned about uploading her own photos. And I could not believe how rude one person can be! Saying it was a silly discussion to start and she shouldn't be wasting hers, or others' time. That got me frustrated.. I just couldn't believe it. Personally I think she asked a valid question: Should she (or anyone for that matter) be concerned with uploading pictures of themselves to a websites?
I think it's madness and I wish people like that would grow up..Really. What do you think?

Its true that some of the users here were immature in which we can easily know it by their responses to other's discussions. As per mylot discussion's guidelines those very bad responses can be deleted as mylot was totally not encourage that kind of responses to be make over here. I did came across that kind of responses from time to time and sometime I will just leave a comments to those who say by telling him/her it was really not good to say so....some might kind enough to apologize and some will just screw you back!

Hello there, firstly I don't think that there is any reason for rudeness on a forum like this, in fact it seems quite odd that someone would take so much effort to tell others not to respond to that person's questions. We ask questions to seek answers, those answers provide us with knowledge and therefor serve to educate. No there is no such thing as a stupid question, if the question is genuine. Each of us knows things that someone else doesn't, the only way you understand and gain knowledge is to ask the question to get the answer :-)

Questions are always subjective depending on who are you asking it to. Some people who can relate with your question will dive right in while others who aren't that comfortable or are oblivious to the topic will just snub you.
Yes, there's no stupid question..... depending on who you ask that to.
