What impact do you think Halo 3 will have for 360?

I think the sales of xbox 360's will go up the week before and continue going up until a month or more after. The game will be sold out basically everywhere imaginable. They could sell it for 80$ or 90$ and still have them sold out.

Yeah there are still a bunch of people who haven't upgraded from the old xbox. Gradually they will start to do this as it gets closer to the time of halo 3's release.

Yea, out of my friends 3/4 of them have a 360 and are getting Halo 3. Some the real reasons they got 360 was because Halo 3 will kickass!!!!!!!!!!!!

not really if u ask me. i mean fine halo is the killer app out there but htere are many many gamers who did not like halo at all. i am one of them and not to be basied but i felt it was bit too cartoonish and plus i just did not dig it
as for owing every other game i dont think anyone can own GEARS OF WAR or RAINBOW SIX VEGAS. those two are the best games out right and will be even when halo 3 comes just that halo 3 will take top spot and this will take 2nd and third.
assasin creed is one the way to being a serious threat to many gmaes out there too

i guess if u are looking in tems of market share and comparision then it might be but that is not the main reason that it will own all the other games out there. i mean yes halo got big fan following nad it may be that good but then the game like COD 3 and vegas and GOW are pretty much so much better if not more better than halo. Those are games in themselves that cannot be compared.
