Not sure how anyone else does it, but once I sign on, I quickly review discussions i've started, then spend a good deal of time reviewing and responding to discussions with no responses. I think it's important to make everyone contributing to feel as though someone is interested in what they have to say. I also find that there are some really good discussions that got lost in the shuffle and never got off the ground. It's not a surprise with the level of traffic and new posts that happen within mere seconds on this site. Anyone else meddle in a little 'discussions with no responses' too?

I find myself with limited time here, so I try to do things as systematically as I can. I only read/respond to discussions that interest me, so that helps me. I usually start under the discussions column on the left and read the first page on most of them. When I respond to something, I'll venture off on the similar discussions at the bottom. When I get bored of those because they're done, or all the same, I go back to the main list. After going through those, I start on my interests. Couple of quick trips through those and I've made my 20-30 posts I like to get each day.
