Has anyone been roped into buying an e-book about getting rich quick? Unfortuntately I was! Most of them are selling e-books about selling e-books... Unless you can write an e-book about something legitimate like gardening or massage etc. then I think it is all a con...

If you want e-books about making money or any other topic go to http://www.heygidday.com/download.htm This is a site with free e-books (Al used to sell them but he makes money other ways now.) It also has good information about setting up websites, selling on ebay, affiliate marketing, autoresponders, etc. All of the e-books are free and come with resell rights plus most of them also have the templates and covers for selling them yourself.

Thanks for this - that sounds good. I am intertested in writing an e-book, but I'm not very offay with setting up websites and things.. this will definitely help to get me started.
I just don't want to be promoting it falsley which a lot of these get rich quick schemes get you to do - 'I started out £30,000 in debt and now I own a fleet of cars and a 6 bedroom house' blah blah.. It's just not realistic is it!?

Hi katie and welcome to MyLot.
Yeah, as mentioned above, most of the ebooks relating to get-rich-quick-ideas go round in circles but some of the info in them is quite good. Pity you paid for them as most started out free. It is a matter of where to find them.
If you can turn your hand to writing then there is a good self-publishing website called http://www.lulu.com where you retain the rights to your work.
