Would you ever go on the show A Baby Story (The "reality" show where they profile your pregnancy and delivery)?

I would have loved to be on A Baby Story! My pregnancy was really good and my labor was not very painful. I think that if I was going through a bad labor then i wouldn't want the camera's in my face!but my son came out fairly easy and he was such a good baby! Being on A baby story would be one of those things you share with everybody once the child gets older! like "you were a tv star" haha!

Well, I applied.:) My doctor delivers at 2 hospitals, and the first hospital said no film cameras. So when I go to the doctors today, I have to get the name of the other hospital, and see if they allow it there.

NO cameras in the delivery room for me. NO WAY. It could be an interesting "keepsake" of your time during pregnancy. But really, do your kids want to see this? Does your family? Does anyone need to see it? I think pregnancy is a private time for a family, not something to be shown on TV. Besides, I would NEVER want crazy hormonal moments taped for prosperity and viewed by thousands of strangers!!

I agree with you on the point that you think that this would make a magnificent keepsake for sure. On A Baby Story they do not show the actual baby being born they keep all of that blocked out. I think that it would be an awesome keepsake and i loved the show through both of my pregnancies. Personally i agree though that i do not think that i could do it myself!!

I think that probably every pregnant mother watches this show ... LOL! It used to be on between 12 to 1 here two episodes every weekday. I used to sit there attentively watching with tears in my eyes ... LOL! I always used to bawl everytime the baby was delivered ... LOL! Having a baby truly is such a miracle and i guess it would depend on alot of things but if i would have been asked with my last two it would have been a definite no ... LOL! I want at least two mor kids in the future but i guess with that only time will tell!!! God Bless!!

You are so right. Everytime I get pregnant, I watch the show. I did hear back, and the other hospital won't let the film crew in. Oh, well. I tried. :)

No, but than again I already have 5 children and have no plans on having any more. LOL I don't think I could. I hated being pregnant and I feel sick to my stomache all the time. But the biggest reason is I hated being video taped or photographed. How about you? WOuld you do it?

Sorry your husband couldn't be there. I would loved to have seen his face when he saw the tape. ;)

To be honest, he fainted. So i suppose it was better that he wasn't with me at the birth. Luckily I had my twin sister, my mom, my two sister in laws, and mother in law with me in the theatre. I was definitely well looked after.

I've never heard of this show but I'm the one that said I would have a dozen kids if I didn't have to be pregnant to get them. I hated being pregnant and there is no way on earth I would have wanted cameras filming me while I was - I would be "get that camera out of my face or I'll show you what you can do with it." No, that time of my life did not bring the best out in me.

I am sorry to hear that. I guess lucky for me, I was one of those "It was a piece of cake" I was so numbed up, I couldn't feel a thing. :)
