What if ur room-mate doesnt like u ?

i'm currently a graduate student.i found my room-mate disliking me.he doesnt like me, doesnt want to see my face.he feels a urge of beating me when he sees me as he says i have heard without his notice.actually why he doesnt like me i dont know. whether he doesnt like my face ,my talkings ,my styles. he says that i'm a big chatter.he means i talk unneccessary things & i just waste his time.so i have reduced my talkings with him.ami right? or tell me wat to do? wat would u do if ur at mine posn?

gees sounds like you have a grouchy roommate. I would stay out of his way and try to avoid him at all costs. Maybe see if you can get another room mate.

u dont think so man .he is a nice guy man. i think the fault is mine. i chat with him uneccessarily he dosnt like this.ok.
after we r to be friends for 4 yrs becoz we r branch mates in our graduation...

It woul dhave been nice of him to clamly discuss his tolerance for conversation before he got so fed up that he went off on you.
YOu are beng as considerate as you can be under the circumstances. If possible, YOu should find comeplace else to live. His presence must surely make you uneasy now that he has developed these feelings for you.

Well the first thing you should do is look into getting another roommate. But until then, just avoid confrontation with him when possible. You have to live together, but that doesn't mean you have to be friends. I'm in a similar situation with my roommate. We don't really get along because we're two totally different people. But we manage to live with each other because we simply mind our own business in the room. He does his thing and I do mine. There are occasional arguements but that happens with all roommates.
