Anyone noticed the resembles the game "Fatal Frame" bears to this movie?

Hi. If anyone's into games, have you played the Fatal Frame series on Playstation 2? There are lots of concepts in that game which make one think that The Grudge is the game's movie. Anyone agree on that?

never heard about fatal fram but i seen both the grudge might post a picture of the game?

well, remember the movie scene where the longhaired woman crawls on the floor? well, there are enemies (ghosts) in that game which do exactly the same thing. I'll post a screenshot if i can.

I couldn't find the shot for that specific scene, but I have some shots from the game itself. I'm new to myLot and I wasn't sure if I could upload them in this message, so I've uploaded them in my photos page. Have a look! If you do have a Playstation2 or Xbox, then you NEED to play these games. They are the BEST thing in their genre, in my opinion at least!

It's not exactly a copy.. just the concept of "little girl with black hair"... but we've seen that other places too, like in the game F.E.A.R.

yes definite reseblance... with the characters... you should watch the anime girl from hell... really cool... am playin the game after a really long time...

Haven't played 1 but in FF2 the woman you are talking about has a twisted neck and going by the photos in you page, it looks as if the woman is going to crawl normally. To make it simple, in FF2 the woman lies flat on her back and crawls towards you. Don't know if its the same in the movie you mentioned about

it Doesnt, actually. The ghosts from the Grudge/Ring which is Sadako is a traditional ghost in japan...

My daughter has the first Fatal Frame game and I totally thought the same thing when I saw the movie The Grudge. Very scary game too. I hear screaming everytime she plays that game. LOL I found the movie to have a very similar concept to the game as well.

yeah, i do believe that some of the scenes of the movie are identical to the game, in fact I had started at thread about it myself, after I saw grudge 2, and some of the scenes are exactly like some scenes in the game, I don't think it's a copy though, because the stories are completely different, and anyway, almost all Japanese horrors are like that. Like the girl in the closet, how many times have we seen that in fatal frame or the shinto gates. that is all too common in the Japanese horror genre. But still the games can do things that the movie will never be able to do, I just think games are made completely and beautifully to the core.

i never heard that game, but i love this genre of games RPG (role playing games with mystery). well i need to serach on the nearby shop if there is a copy of that ame here in the philippines.. just keep watching horror films.
