I recently ordered this through my on-line video rental place and my sister told me that this movie was not suitable for Jehova Witnesses?
I just want to know why?
I guess we will have to stick to the Disney collection but then again I am sure if they tried hard enough they would find something wrong with that too.
Religious Fanatics drive me bananas. This world could be absolutely perfect and they would find something that upsets thier oh so delicate equilibriums.
Personly if heaven is going to full of these people I am going to stay as far away from this creepy place as I can!

*scratches my head*
How in the world...?
I'm wracking my brains here, and other than the fact it's sortof...kinda...a scifi show, I really can't see what they'd have wrong with it. Religion is only -barely- touched on in the show...and for goodness sakes its fiction.
A mysterious island which has a ton of secret: people crash on said island and try to go home..but the things they don't know and get caught up in don't exactly help their survival nor their wishes.
^ And that's the short explanation, and from just that I still can't see what they'd find wrng with it. Time-travel, weird monsters, animals that don't belong there, mysterious illness, mysterious items, mysterious "natives"...it's not like there's magic, or religious memoirbilia strewn all over the place.
Sure, there's murder, there's criminals, there's a bit other mature content...but it's not heavy laden or focused on...
*frowns* goodness, I don't get it lmao.
I don't know. People like to fuss alot, I guess...I doubt it's ALl of the Jehovahs Witnesses' people...probably just a smattering and probably over more branches of christianity and maybe a few other faith systems too...who knows? If people don't like something, they can not like something...if you like something, then whatever? Who's to tell you what you can and can't do?

Oh my goodness this is funny. I can't believe
I discovered your discussion on the eve of the
season 4 finale of LOST.
What's even funnier is that anyone would be
offended by a make believe television show.
I doubt the Jehovah Witnesses of all people
would offended. They are pretty open minded
and non-judgmental.
You want to know a secret? LOST is produced
by those evil people at Disney LOL. Oh well.
There is always someone that can't tell the
difference between reality and entertainment.
Remember the Passion of Christ?
Silly people just don't have their priorities
in the right place.

hmmm I have never seen the series Lost, it just never appealed to me, I think most films would have something in them to upset some people I don't understand why they would single one group out....I must watch it next time it is one to see why....
