Is it natural for humans to destroy nature?

A fellow painter told me that he had just recently visited Sagada, and the sight broke his heart. It's the same thing he felt when he visited Boracay two years ago...that commercialism and human pollution had tainted the place.
I am not against commerce, or any form of human advancement, but it just breaks my heart to see the once pure, untainted place that took thousands of years to become as beautiful as it was to be ruined by people within a only a couple of years.
I just thought I wanted to share this opinion.

The answer is yes or no. It really depend on the people intention and some of the people like the nature very much and they do everything in their power to save it. Other just be ignorant about it, human care more about personal gain than nature it self . What would you choose if I say I give you $100 for every tree you cut ? . pollution are killing the earth and I bet you heard about global warming and global deeming. I am not an expert on that matter but, I do watched a documentary and it mention that after a certain point the global warming and global deeming effect will be irreversible. I am sad about this and too bad there are nothing much we can do about it.

Yeah...it's just heartbreaking to think that these effects are irreversible. But what I am concerned is, we already know that most of the things around us are tainted already, why not preserve the ones left?
Oh well.

I feel the same too. I wish I was born before the industrial revolution when everything was natural and beautiful. However, I think that nature and industrial advancement can go together. It's according to how we use it. If just people can manage to make a balance between them both,.

Yes, a good balance is alright. But most people don't know what that is, especially in this country I am in. I know its mean, but I sometimes wish that the country won't progress as it is right now just to preserve what's left of our environment.

It is pitiful and sad to know that we are the ones destroying what we were blessed with.
I have recently visited Sagada and you can really feel and is evident that human intervention can be visibly seen in the place.
Well, it goes to prove that we have used nature to further our financial status but have not considered that we are putting our nature as well as our safety at risk.
