The next time you have slow drain, try this science trick. Place a few drops of baking soda in your drain and add vinegar. Immediately stop the sink. You will most likely here the drain rumbled as it clears out. Wait 5 minutes and pour boiling hot water down with the drain. The flush with running tap water. Try this tip and let me know what you think.

Great tip. I will have to try that. Where I live our new homes where built with terrible plumbing, so I am always trying to clear our drains here. I new about the boiling water, but I have been using liquid plumber along with it. It sure would be nice to be able to just use baking soda and vineger. I just cleared out my drains yesterday, so I won't need to do it again for a couple of weeks. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks! I've used this tip several times and it's never failed. The drain is should be noticeably refreshed as well. I hope this tip works well for all the DYI'ers out there!
