Does Valentines Day have any significance in your life or is it just another day?
Aside from being my sister's birthday (21st this year) it doesn't really mean too much to my fiance or I. We used to exchange gifts, but decided not to this year.
So how will you celebrate Valentines day?

It's just another day just for the shops especially the floists to make more money....
My partner never really liked celebrating it anyway so I don't really care anymore. It is nice to spread the Love around though to those who may not have a special someone in their life.
Make others Happy by putting a smile on their face.
Happy Birthday to your sister...

I think it's a nice thing to celebrate when you first become a couple but personally I love the spontenaity and surprise of "celebrating" love on other days of the year. Actually this year, my partner and I had a dinner last night (on the 13th) and he surprised me with gifts on other days of the year.

I agree with you totally urbangirl. I think it is nicer to NOT have a reason to be romantic, but just be romantic because you can, not because everyone else is doing it for the day.
We will have a nice quiet dinner at home with our children and that will make me happier than going out for the night.

i don't really take valentines day as a big deal too but i respect the day, i know that it's a day where we celebrate love, not just the love that is attraction for others but also love for our family and friends. well, i would just be here in the office working this valentines and hope i'd go home early. lol
