Medicines: generic or branded?

i go for the generics, i can save on drugs with the same effects as the branded ones

Generics are not always as effective as branded medicines though. My Fox news station just had a report that generic birth control was shown to not be as effective in some cases as branded birth control. I, for one, don't want to take that chance, so I will spend the extra $15 per month to pay for branded birth control. All other medicines I will gladly buy the generic and use it if there is one available.
