I know this may seem cliche, but I honetly don't see color in people. I mean, of course, I know if someone is black or white or brown or whatever, but I don't care. If you are a good person...if you are nice to me...if we can become friends...I could care less ifyou are striped!

sorry, charlene, but i disagree. I am not lying. I honestly do not notice color. Of course, I see if someone is black or white or yellow, but I don't care. That is what I mean by that. I give every single person a chance no matter what. I don't get scared if a black man gets in an elevator with me. I don't think I'm going to get shot if a Puerto Rican or Mexican comes up behind me on the street. I don't put people in categories

I agree with chaygylmommy. It's not so important what color the people is.If he/she is frend to me,we can build frendship;if he loves me very much, and I also love him,we can fall in love with each other. Also,I don't think it's important to choose a person with certain color to be your professor.

i'm brown so, color is color. i know stereo-types for almost all races, even my own. i laugh at comical jokes but i don't consider myself racsist. i know that if i lived back in the day my butt would be discriminated against just because i wasn't white, and i'm not black, and i'm not hispanic either. people are people and we're all the same, even though some hard headed people think differently..

I think I'm as racist as the rest of the human race. I do notice colour - we are, after all made from different colours. If we were all one colour, life would be exceedingly dull. However, having said that I notice colour, I notice there is beauty in colour. There are beautiful black, white, yellow, brown and blue people. Seriously, rather than denny colour - let's celebrate it!

you should never wish you are white! I am white so I really don't "KNOW" what it is like to be discriminated against for the color of your skin, but please never wish you are something other than what you are. God made you for a reason. We are all here for a reason. You are special and should never wish you are something else. Be proud of who you are.

People are just messed up all over this earth and probably the universe. It's what keeps the world in turmoil. The small differences.

People should all be treated the same and judged by their personality not by their colour.

I have no problems with people of different colours, and I think that any person or people who will descriminate against other people because of skin colour, or for any other reason, are total jerks, that I want nothing to do with.

I have nothing against black people. I believe that they are the same as anyone else. We all bleed the same and have the same problems in life. So I don't understand why the colour of a person's skin should matter.

Color is not ultimate value of a person. Good moral character is the first thing which should be considered. what behavior he or she has. This thing which causes to make a black or white person more and most popular. Black people have their black beauty. I like such people very much.

I honestly don't judge people by the color of their skin. I look more at a person's integrity and their moral values. Besides, we are all colored people. Listen to the song "Colored People" by dcTalk. Great song.

Coolhunkz, people should not descriminate black people. Color of the skin does not matter. Nobody can make a choice of skin color at birth. Color of the skin depends on the temperature of the region or country where one lives. Besides, it was already discovered that the roots of all people on Earth came from Africa.

I agree that racism goes ways. What do you think started this? I don't think I've ever found a satisfactory answer. Have you?

I only don't like people who are rude, and mean, I don't care what they look like. I have both black and white enemies and friends, it all depends on the character of the person..:)

i actually like any color. it doesn't really matter if a person is black or brown or white. it depends really on the way i feel about a person. some people are just charming no matter how they look. i think to like the person by their appearance at first but as i get to know a person it is the person or their personality that make me love them and not their looks. though having good looks could really impress me.

I have no problem with black or white or yellow or purple. I have a antillian friend, and she was seperated from her boyfriend and was looking for a new boyfriend. We had gotten into conversation with a very good looking jong man. I said to her (because I myself was in the middel of a divorse, and not ready for new manly experiences. Otherwise I would had taken the chance.lol) well, he is very nice, intellegent, good looking... She looks at me and gets insulted, she was mad at me. Why? Because: How could I even think that, he was too black! Sorry, she is my best friend, but I laughed so loud, she got more angry. I said : " Whats your problem, your darker then me too. So what?" She had no answer. I was amazed to see that there is discrimination under dark people as well. She is from Curacao, and he was from Africa. I sometimes donĀ“t understand what this world is coming too. And Coolhunkz I think this was a very brave question! And a good one. Take care.

Wow well considering half my family is black and so is my fiance im gonna have to say yes to that question haha and I mean it. I consider myself fortunate to come from a mixed background so I have both perspectives. I notice skin colour now but as i was telling my fiance it was only when I hit maybe 16 it suddenly did occur to me everyone was different! All through school I had white friends, black friends, mixed friends, arab friends, bengali friends, chinese friends. They were like me, kids they werent a language or a religion or a colour. Its only when we grow up it happens. And the one post about saying a black guy was too black for a black woman yeah its so common. Even black people in the Carribean call really black people names and I was told a lighter skinned person would get a job faster than a darker one. I see in colour but more I see in background. Where im from is such a diverse area you see black white asian iraqui everyone getting on cos they all come from the same place with the same aspirations. People find it hard to assimilate foreigners into their society tho not only black in UK now u got Polish areas and shops and Hungarian and Romanian and theyre classed as white but even white and black british people shy away from them cos theyre different. They blame them for crime and the degradation of society. Its nothing to do with skin colour.
