gay & lesbian rights in marriage

What do you all thing of gay marriage? Do you think everyone of any gender is entitled to be with someone of the same gender and have rights as heterosexual couples? I want to know everyone opinions. I am a homosexual bi-racial woman, and I just want to get everyones imput on this, no matter how you feel. Be respectful, but please tell me why you feel the way you do.

I'm close friends with a gay man, I wish he could have the same freedoms that I do as a hetero female.

That is very thoughtful of you. My friends all say the same thing. I have a few friends who vowed to not get married until I am able to with the same rights as heterosexuals. I think that was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.
