chain letters, should you believe them?

I don't believe in chain letters. I think it's created by people who doesn't have anything better to do with their lives. I put my trust to the Lord and my life is based on what He wanted to happen and not by some letters.

I just delete all that stuff and I also get really annoyed... why would people send stuff like that? Specially those that are kind of thretening: "send this to x amount of people or something terrible will happen to you..." yeah right...

I do recieve alot of those, they even send some of it through SMS. I just ignore it and delete it immediately, I'm not used of believing something like those letters. Like I don't even know the people that send it, and what's their motive in doing it so. I believe that we are the ones who will shape our destiny, the master of our own faith and responsible for our own lives. That's the reason why I'm not bothered about it's contents.

I think that chain letters are like a jinx and I get super paranoid. So I forbid all of my friends to send me chain letters. Furthermore, if I ever smell a hint of a chain letter in my mail box I delete it without reading it. And if I didn't know it was a chain letter and I read the mail and then like it starts even SOUNDING close to a chain letter, I delete it before I get to the spot where it gives me the ultimatums (i.e. send it to 15 people or blah happens). I think a lot of the "love" chain letters jinx me (like, send it to 15 people in the next hour and you'll find the love of your life...!!!) and obviously I can't do that so I feel very odd and hopeless.
