is your thumb green enough?

I can't get it when they asked me if I have a green thumb way back then. I was in grade six when I realized what greenthumb means. Thanks to my teacher who told me that. From there, I started to collect succulents. My first group of collections were in old sacks because pots were expensive that time. Now that I have my own home and can afford to buy pots, my plants get withered easily.I'm afraid my thumb isn't that "green" enough. Or maybe it's the weather's fault or I lack care to them. But I don't think so. I attend to them everyday. I even talk to them.Old folks say I had to talk to them. Do you believe in that?

If your plants get withered easily, then they may be getting too much water or not enough. If you are growing succulents, you may be giving them too much. Succulents store water for later use. Also, many succulents do not like temperatues below 40 degrees F. Talking to your plants is good. Here is the reason why, plants breathe in what you breath out.

I would suggest that you keep succulants grouped together. If you have different types of plants in a container that have different watering needs, some plants will suffer.
