I can't remember how old I was but I lived in Canada as I still do, but I was living in British Columbia at the time. I'm guessing I was about 19 I passed the written test with one wrong, so I got my learners, well the law said you had to have the learners for at least 3 months before you could take the road test. About 3 days before my road test ICBC went on strike that meant I could'nt take the road test and I wouldn't have been able to buy insurance anyway. When that was done I re-wrote my test and I passed it again one wrong, but not the same question, it was stupid, anyway I again had my learners licence than the big day came I took the road test, I passed it with flying colors, than before my licence got to me we had a postal strike. I finally got my licence but it took forever. I'm now 56 and I've driven many many miles and up to date I have only had one speeding ticket and absolutely no driving flaws. Touch wood!!!Grandmaof2

i was 16 when i took mine, for me the hardest part was the wait. i was so nervous i started bitting down on my sisters arm (with a shirt on). once i got in the car i just did how i trained since i did take a class and also did a mock test with my driving instructor. the guy was pretty easy on me. i did a run around the block. i didn't parallel park but i pulled up behind a car and scrapped the tire a little bit and then i took some time making my left hand turn. he gave me a perfect score though. i though i had failed because i felt the test was a little short. but i passed, he first time.
