Have a time to relax ... otherwise you'll have a break down. Go for a vacation and have fun

Firsyly, this is a good subject, need of everyone,Good choice.
For handling pressure I have done one exercise, which helped me lot.
1)Go to your favourite lonely place with pen and papers
2)Sit calm for sometime
3)Take a review of your busy shedule, thouroughly and sincerely.make points.
4)Make analysis of them.
5)prioratise the things(points) with respect your goals and according to 4 quadrant formula(e.g.urgent and necessory, necessory but not urgent like that)
6)DO initial planning of doing things.
Also
7)This will also help you to to differntiate the unnecessory or unimportant things.
8)Find out the things which are to be done by you only and to be get done through others. This will certainly reduce your work pressure and so also mental pressure .
9)I know this is a little tough exrcise, but once done gives fruitful results.
AND now you will get some spare time in your daily shedule.
Out of that keep at least 30-45 minutes(preferably early in morning if not before going to bed) for you and you only.I mean only RITCHEL-- no any disturbance.
Do the things only of favourirte choice ---like music, Dhyan.(except TV).This will not only refresh but energise you for better and better results.
Good Luck !

Thank you for the advise. I like it very much but i am having a problem in refraining from Watching Television because i am a couch potato. It is actually one thing that gets my time because often times instead of studying i just watch TV. It also cause me to be late in the class because i don't sleep early. I just watch and watch television shows...

My answer would seem to be be easier said than done but I think as a student nurse, I can speak enough of how pressure and stress should be handled. I believe that everything is all in the mind....I practice panick healing (im not sure on the spelling though) but it's all about practicing on having a healthy and sound mind even in drastic changes and hurdles in life. Contuing to be more optimistic would be of great help.

The first thing to do when you are in pressure is to relax. Its really important to relax and then plan on the priority of the things. You should do your work one by one and without any hussle for them because they may again make you more pressurised.

I guess the only way to handle pressure is find out the source of such pressure. If it's work, then what is it about work that makes you feel pressured, like deadlines for example. If it is then the only way to relieve such pressure is time management. But of course, you don't only need to have time for work but also have time for yourself to be able to relax a bit and take the load off. If it's possible, try not to take home work because it'll only make you feel much pressured. Work, as much as possible, should only be left in the office. Give yourself a break once in a while and stop thinking about work at home since there's not much you can really do about it.

I'm also very busy recently. On the contrary,it keeps me away from the pressur from outer space as I have to concentrate on things in hand. When I do feel stressed,I always turn to my friends and parents. They are always there ready to help me.Sometimes music is also a good help.Best wishes!
