Do you let your kids play with keyboards? mine LOVES to slam the keyboard and press all the buttons, i let her type to my friends sometimes, and its cute. but then she gets mad when i want her to stop lol. i should get her her own little keyboard without a cord to play with. she will grow up to be a geek like her daddy.

Oh bless me, I thought your discussing about the musical keyboard, bec thats what Im letting my baby play whenever he wants. The different patterns make him smile. And lately he learned how to turn it off and on and the songs from the song bank will play. Its so nice to see a baby smiling.

I have a extra keyboard that my son uses and has used since he was old enough to do so (now 4) and he loves it. He know knows how to use the computor and type with his hands pretty well. He is memorizing where the keys are and he is doing fairly well with it. I have some programs for him to play with for preschool and he has a blast with them

I don't have a baby to slam my keyboard. If I did, I think I would rather buy my baby it's own to play with and enjoy.

my 7 month old grand daughter and my 2 year old grand son likes to press the kids so I put on note pad just to see if they might spell a real word out of all that jibberish

Yes the keyboard with the cut cord is an excellent idea. I had an old keyboard I used to let my daughter bang on when I was on the computer, she loved it. I didn't cut the cord but it was wrapped underneath.

You can probably find an old cheap one in Goodwill or the Salvation Army or some other such second hand store. She may be a geek but atleast she'll be one with an education and viable job prospects!
