I saw on internet, many cards showed about anti Valentine. So I try to understand. Why were they anti Valentine?
Maybe, the first reason they want to love and to be loved everyday. Or they don't have someone to love or to be loved?
Do you have any reasons why do people be anti Valentine?
I think we must accept the day, but we must transform with the better meaning.. Like, a new year for lover, to remind us that we should love everyone else.
What do you think?

ANTI VALENTINE---quite an expression!
i, under all circumstances, would like to negate this. i am afirm beleiver of love, compassion and anti violence, obviously someone who feels that loving words can really soothe a soul, would defy this no matter what.i have a big heart, accomodating one and all and can never see one straving of it. i feel, it's LOVE that keeps us going. love of GOD juxtaposed with the love from parents, siblings, friends, peers...and everything gives us an undefined strength to fight the odds.
i am an out and out PRO VALENTINE. however i respect ppl who believe that everyday s a valentine's day. but don't you think that it's very much important to show your love and warmth once in a while? well, my parents never celebrated this day but does this make them feel short of love, i don't think so. having said this, i would always want my love to manifest his feelings this day. i just love to splurge myself in flowers, choc'lates, cards...and all mushy stuff. we live only one life, some years and ONE DAY just to celebrate real LOVE.
wising you a happy V day...
* nice to have you back after a long gap baronarthur.

You give many thoughts in this discussion. I think that any kinds of love are from God. God has given us love, so that we could learn about how to love God. And of course we could learn the purest and the ultimate love, God's love. As long as I have time, I will go back to myLot..There's so much love at myLot..

Of course, if the source was God and the ultimate is God. But, people usually forget God when they were in love. I don't think it's loving God. It's very different, though it's similar but it's not same..Because the ultimate of love is different.

I always like to believe about Valentine day that is a day for love, any kind of this beautiful feeling and not only for -in love-people. The last some years this day became to be a shopping day. The people thinking more what they will buy for this day from all these almost same shops and not how much love and for who is in them heart. Maybe the Anti Valentine persons they mean something like this maybe not.....is just my opinion about it and I'm not an Anti Valentine person just is enough we remember the real meaning of the day.

I saw a site who created anti valentine cards, they didn't like the commercials in valentine's day. Today, the meaning of the valentine's day is to buy a gift.. That's why it becomes a shopping day, like Christmas or any other shopping days.. It become the love of the gifts. May the day remind us about the love and the source of love, that is God Himself.

Wow.. Thanks for the compliment.. Many things happen in my city.. Especially the flood, it had made the whole internet connection down. And I didn't have time to answer all the responses.. Especially your quality responses.. Thanks for showing 'love' at myLot with your compliment.

I like the word anti Valentine. I just think that it's a pagan's celebration of love. But, there's nothing more than the love in Easter or Christmas. I mean, God's love. Valentine's day is just a day where people is acted as a romantic lover, though he/she isn't romantic. And the companies that sell chocolates, cards, flowers & many romantic things entrap the 'romantic people.' It's a big business...

Ha..ha.. I can't believe it that you like the word Anti Valentine. But, I think it doesn't mean you don't like to love and to be loved.. I agree with your analysis about the valentine's day, but it doesn't mean that we must reject it completely. Why don't we transform and use it?!
