How did Valentines Day go for you?

I woke up this morning without even thinking it is V-Day. I was more concerned about the time - kids' breakfast, get them ready for school, my commitments for the day, etc... Then, only after thinking about all my concerns and what my to dos are, did I remember it was V-Day.
So there I go, turned and faced my partner, gave him a kiss and greeted him "Happy Valentine's Day" with a grin thinking that he must be feeling bad that I forgot what day it is. Then with a surprised look, he said; "Oh is it"? Can't help but think if this is what happens after celebrating V-Day together for 7 years.
How did it go for you?

Ever since we got married I always give my wife a box of black chocolates and a bouquet of roses, never missed a year. This time was a double treat because I got my first Mylot payout 3 days before V day, so we went to a restaurant together. On the way home, we stopped by a pet shop, and bought 2 pairs of African love birds for our grandson who was absolutely overjoyed and doesn't want to walk away from the bird cage anymore.
