if given a chance to choose your parents would you still chose the one you have

that one really made me think. if i had a choice i probably would choose the same mum but not sure about my dad. if i could actually id just change some of his characteristics. he could be a really great guy if it wasnt for some ways of his.

I will choose only the parents who gave birth to me. I cannot forsake them for anybody's sake.

Of course, yes, without hesitation. Even speaking beyond genetics, I would not be who I am without their influences, both positive and negative.
My parents have overcome many obstacles personally, even before considering the fact that they had to deal with me - a child so very much like both of them that I became entirely unpredictable (my father has an aggressive personality while my mother is passive-aggressive - I am both at different times).
However unorthodox the method, my parents raised me to the best of their abilities. Though I now live in another state, I speak with them almost daily, and consider myself quite fortunate to have them in my life.
