Turmeric also known as Haldi in Hindi, Manjal in Tamil, Pasuvu in Telugu is a very great kitchen medicine. It is a typical Indian herb that can be used for almost all ailments. Turmeric powder mixed with lukewarm milk reduces cold. Nowadays i have heard that it is being used in research for a drug against AIDS. Please add your other information and knowledge about Turmeric and let this thread grow to help so many people.

yes, it's a good idea to do that if the herb can also be found in areas where it can help people who are in need of it. it's not all if you know how this herb works without being able to get reach of it. it will also be helpful if others can help the spread of this herb. don't you think so?
