how can we make opposites attract? CHRISTIANS VS. ATHEIST

so we've all heard that christians are better human than those who do not believe. but, is there any way that we can make our lives much easier like, can't christians and atheist meet halfway and forget about who's a better person and who's not?

Why do you think that Christians are better human beings than atheists or any other non - Christian for that matter? This point of view seems to be bordering on fanatcism to me.

its a cliche thing and nothing to do with anyone's belief. you see? we really cant make a better out of this world if we keep building walls instead of bridges.

Sure, but who is building the walls? I'm an Atheist and I don't really care what anyone else believes or does not believe just as long as they do not try to impose there belief system on me.

The only way I see it is that if we all just calmed down and meet up and discuss things in an open-minded way. All suggestions and information will be valued weather it came from Christians or Atheist. Let's not forget just because we have different beliefs doesn't mean we have different rights. Our basic human rights are universal weather your a millionaire tycoon or a member of an indigenous tribe from Africa.

It depends on whether they are fanatics or not.
Fanatics will always try to convert the others to their way of thinking and usually they think they are actually doing you a favour in doing so.
Much better for everyone if the fanatics keep to themselves.
If they are not fanatics then they can peacefully co-habit with the rest of humanity.

I don't believe anyone is better. I am Christian and I believe that we should love everyone just as Jesus did. There is no peace in hatred. I also believe that atheist should believe in God because I know for a fact that he is real and he loves you. So if he loves you then you should love him. That's just something to think about. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't be here.

yeah if everyone can put their ego under their feet for a change and not do the holier than thou thingy we can get somewhere..it is all about the ego..when the ego rears its ugly head everything else is so small..that is when things become messy..
