I've been a fan of Harry Potter since it's first release. I have just read an article over the internet that JK Rowling made it clear that the 7th book will now be his last adventure. But why? I've been a fan of Harry Potter since its first release. I've read all the books and seen all movies too. And it would definitely make me feel so sad that eventually,it has to end. I just hope that it would have a happy ending.

i think there will only be seven books. i'm a huge harry potter fan myself, read all books and seen all movies. i don't want it to end either, but i was also thinking, what else could JKR write about if the series would not end? then an idea occured to me. what if JKR will stop at book seven now, but who knows, maybe 10yrs from now, JKR will release a come-back story about harry potter, and this time, as an adult. wouldn't that be interesting? during that time, all harry potter fans will relive the past. after all, harry potter has been a world-wide phenomenon.

That can probably happen. Like any other movies such as SuperMan and those movies that had a come-back story from a long year. That's kinda interesting also. But we'll still have to try and see what happens next. I agree to the idea that it would be somewhat unlikely anymore if we're gonna be able to see how he grew up and see how he married and stuff like that. If he will die in Book7, who knows there will be a reincarnation a decade after. Of he still lives in Book 7, then probably, what you thought may also happen.

That could be one of the reasons. And I appreciate her thought regarding that. Especially that piracy has spread all over. Be it be in movies, music industry, books, and many more.

A couple of years ago, I read that there was supposed to be 8 books. I don't remember what the title was supposed to be for book 8. It will be shame when it is all over. There won't be anything left to watch at the movies. Everything else seems to pale in comparison.

Oh, how I really wish there would still be Book 8. At least there's still another series that I would be waiting for. But like I said, JK made it clear already that the 7th book will be the last one. Well, let's just wait and see. No matter how we feel about its ending, at least JK had made us entertained all throughout its books and movies.

Sad, but apparently true, it will be the end. But, I have the books and movies to re-read and re-watch. Better to end than fizzle out, I guess. As far as a happy ending, I'm guessing more bitter-sweet. They do say at least two people are going to die, so a 'happy' ending is out of the question there.
