Do you back answer your parents?

No, I never yelled at my mother nor to my father. We were brought up to show respect and any arguments can be settled calmly. They're both deceased now. Now I'm a mother myself, I wouldn't like my girls to yell at me. So even at their tender age, I try to talk with them nicely even when I'm angry.

As much as possible I don't want to answer back to my parents because it is a sign of disrespect. But there are times that my mother gets into my skin. She will be asking me the same questions over and over again and I'll be answering the same answers. This happens over and over again until finally I raise my tone a bit and answer the question for the last time.

Well, for the longest time I was the very obient and respectfull daughter, even when my mom was not the greatest. She is a manipulative person and uses guilt to control me omong other methods. I have had harsh words with her, but only when she start it and won't stop. I feel guilty for saying what I said, but I can not take the words back so I must live with them forever.

as much as i want to at my mind, but i still don't have the heart to do it. i just feel that it's improper for me to do it and that i'm am lowering down my etiquette and morals if i do. whenever my parents and i have a fight, i just don't listen to them and i don't talk to them, it's a simple and discrete way of showing them that i disagree with them yet i still respect them as my parents.

yep same happens with me...my mom had quite a hold on me...but u soon its like enough is enough...watsoever u try it doesnt work....even now sometimes when she tries to manipulate me i dont like it n sort of backfire at her...after some time i feel bad abt it but wats said has been said...nobody can do anything about it..

Me and my mom always butt heads and I usually have no problems talking back to her. I am not always nice lol. Oh well.
