What kind of kayaker are you?

What type of paddling do you enjoy?
Why do all other types of paddling suck? ;-)
Where have you beena and where do you plan or dream of going?
My two dream trips would be kayaking the Grand Canyon, and paddling/diving Palau.

"Jump shooting" - I don't know what that is.
Have you noticed any changes in the duck populations of the area over the last decade or so? Changes in species, numbers, migrations times, etc.?

I move quite often do to being in the Navy and so it seems my paddling changes with each new area I move to but so far my kayaks have remained the same. I have a tarpon 120 and started using it in la jolla to explore the caves there on the ocean. then moved to guam and would take it out to go diving or through the river. Now I'm in florida and have fitted it for fishing in the flats. I must say I have gotten my money's worth out this one.

I like canoeing and rowing as well as kayaking. I prefer the ocean or calmer rivers, because paddling of any sort is a relaxing and calming enjoyment for me - getting outside to enjoy fresh air and nature. I like long trips and island camping. My goal is to one day paddle throughout the Puget Sound area.
