love after and before marriage

what is the difference in the love after and before marriage. if there is any at all do you mind sharing it. do you agree with the statement that "marriage kills love" after all all the historic lovers where unmarried.

People have the tendency to work less on their relationships after they've married..They tell themselves, they already got him/her, so they don't have to work at it anymore, But they say it's harder to keep a relationship than to earn one. So all the married people shouldn't stop expressing their feelings, going out on dates together, making those special little things they used to do to impress/please their partner. Keep on doing it!

I don't think marriage kills LOVE. I think it might have a negative effect on LUST though. Then again, it's not marriage that has the negative effect because even people who live together or date without getting married end up losing the lustful feelings and passion for each other after approximately 3-5 years it seems. (so much for the 7 year itch)
