Weathermen and a hidden agenda?

I live on the east coast, beach community. We have not gotten any snow this year. Now we just had a storm come through our area. They hyped it for a week, I called it: We only got rain. It seems when the exciting weather is just not here, they have to pump up the "possibility" of a bad storm. Also in the summer around Memorial Day, I notice they will say the weekend will be wonderful, with a slight possibility of rain. You guessed it.....it down pours. coincidence?
