what do you think vvs laxman is not a good batsman ???

well, he's one of the best players n one of the most reliable one. but he's a slow player, n i think he's not the one the team wants for the forth coming world cup.

he is a laid-back kind of cricketer, definitely slow and not a good fielder anywhere except slips....he is one of the best batsman in india but hasn't done enough to mould himself in the one-day cricket format

lakshman played a great innings some 5 years back and some good innings inthat series. instead of harping on whether he should be selected will some one enlighten me on three or four good inningas he played after that?at the state or zonal level. also can some one remind me of on season or tour when he was aithout injury or illness fully one season when he did not let down his team by withdrawing at the last minute. even now he withdrew from the hyd one team. compare with sourav's fight back into the team

VVS Laxman popularly known as Very Very Special Laxman. No doubt he is one of the great batsman in India but in Test match only not in india. In test match u have to stand in crease 5 days to win the match or you have to take all the 20 wickets to win the match. as per this Laxman is best coz he has that much of capability to stand minimum of 2 days and is very good batsman. But in one day its different if u want to win the match u have to control openents Run insted of taking wickets.If u control the runrate definitely u win the match means u should be a Good fielder and in one day u have to score 100 in lesssthan same ball. AS comparing all the above fact i think Laxman is not Fit for oneday cricket

Well Laxman is a good batsman and fielder he has shown it itme and again. It is little disappointing tahat he is not selected for World cup but that is not an end to his cricket career. He can score more runs in test matches and raise his identiity in test cricket.

I really believe that VVS Laxman should be in the one day team. He is a very good player and should be given more chance. VVS Laxman is one of the player who is able to play very well in the foriegn condition especially in the foreign pitches. He has shown he can bat very well in the Australian pitches and against Australian team. I think he should be given more chances.

i am too agree with you but as you know VVS laxman is expertise in test matches not for one day whereas WC 2007 would be complete oneday. that is the reason he is not selected. but i hope he will back again certainly.

Yes..he is a good batsmen but he is currently out of touch
