hey, my boyfriend was just 128 lbs when we started to be together.now he is a lean 162 lbs.you know what he did?he invested pesos 125.00,($2.25) every month for Men's health magazine. he learned alot of information there, and my hubby never went to the gym!!1he customized his own exercises and he buys protein shakes as supplements!!he did variety of push ups, and he also ran in the mornings, and one secret he shared with me is that before he sleep, he ate a pint of ice cream for two weeks straight, that made him bulk enoough, and then did a lot of exercise!!you can do it too!

If you drink coffee, stop. Coffe increases your motabolism. Also check what other foods do the same. Go to your local store for gym enthusiasts. They sell a wide variety of products for bulking up. The trick here is, when you start to build, make sure it's muscle you're building. I would avoid over dosing on the fatty stuff, not good for your heart or arteries.

It does not matter how many meals u have, what matters is wat u eat.I can suggest u a way to increase ur weight by 5-6 kilos. eat lots of pizzas, butter and milk products.try eating fried foods like chips and drumsticks and have barbequed chicken with butter. Buy a pack of Soya powder and have two glasses of it mixed with milk and sugar for taste. before going to bed eat a couple of candy bars and drink milk.try getting up late by a couple of hours than ur normal waking time. if u cycle to work or collage, try going in a car or bike. try this for 20-25 days and then probably u wud have to go under a diet to loose ur weight.

actually, i ate around 2-3 cups of rice with two viands every meal. it's either something cooked with pork or beef or cooked vegetables. i also see to it that i eat some sweets after a meal like an apple/any fruit, cake, ice cream or any chocolate bar. on snacks, i either eat pastas, fries or burgers. do you think its not enough? i guess there's really a problem with my system.
i'm not really a pizza person but im definitely gonna try to eat more pizzas...i'll go to yellow cab more often. i already tried drinking soya in a tetra pack/box, does your suggestion have the same nutrient content? thanks for the advice. happy posting!

why we are never satisfied with ourself???
I'm a little overweight...and can't loose weight...instead you are thin and you can't gain weight!! You are the opposite than me!
My life is a torture because I am always at diet! And continously watching the balance but nothing changes...so I eat more vegetables trying to loose some kg...and nothing happens...I get only more hungry :o)
I love desserts, cakes and chocolate..but I never eat it...only in special occasions!
I suggest you to eat all you can and like eating!
I love chips...try eating them. Try eating more meat, not only sushi that is so "light"!
And come here to tast our good italian kitchen and italian way of cooking!
Eat some cannelloni, pizza (i love pizza!!), lasagne, pasta in the oven! Yeah...you can eat whatever you want!
I love some tomato juice...called "sugo" in Italy but it's not only a juice of tomatoes on the pasta! And it's not ketchup :).
Ah yeah..you could put much ketchup and maionnase on your chips...so you can gain more weight!
Follow my advices...and you will gain kg in no time :D eheheh. Maybe try posting a picture of you here so we can judge if you are cute so or you need to take more weight!
I don't think you really need to take weight!

When to Start Dieting?
This one is for women:
Never start a diet one week before your period. The hormonal imbalances will drive you nuts, will make you frustrated, and the water retained in your body will make appear as if you haven't shed a pound. Actually, you will look as if you took pounds. So spare yourself!
The best moment to start a diet is two days after your period has started, when your cravings subdue and your body starts eliminating the retained water.
It's better not only from a psychological point of view, but also from a physiological one.
So, girls, did you know that the body retains up to 1 liter of water before and during your period? Keep that in mind next time you are complaining that you cannot lose weight. Personally, I retain even more sometimes.
Anyway, I started this new way of eating. My friend lost 20 pounds almost following it in the US, and if she could do it there, I can do it here!
The basic principles are the ones I have mentioned already. 5-6 meals a day and two or three more substantial. Never eat until you are full, just until you are not hungry anymore. Take out sugar so your insulin is not high and stopping you from losing weight. My daily intake varies from 1,200 calories to 1,500 calories. I don't think that going under this is helpful or healthy.
In the morning I'm having a Diet Cereal Bar and half a glass of yogurt. Two-three hours later I have lunch (for example today I had three small pieces of chicken nuggets and 3 large spoons of eggplants and yogurt salad). Then I had one Diet (with fructose instead of sugar) fruit cheesy yogurt. Then I had dinner - other 3 pieces of nuggets, one egg, and lots of lettuce - and then one more fruity cheesy yogurt. I could have added more, but I feel ok. I am not hungry. I could use some fruits though.

I am most certainly no expert in this field; however I am of the understanding that by eating 5 - 6 meals per day your metabolism is actually sped up! Some people are just born to be able to eat whatever and not put on weight. Aside from going to the gym and increasing protein and carbohydrate intakes I am not sure what else there is? I am sure there are many on here that would LOVE to have your problem though!

i've heard a lot of people complaining about losing and gaining weight. my cousin has the same problems with you. his doctor said that on top of everything you do need to have an appropriate and enough time for rest and sleep. try to have 8 hours of sleep then go to the gym or exercise at home. follow a recommended diet and of course free your mind and don't overreact with your problems. sometimes stressful thinking can do worst in our physique either we go fat or thin.

1. Drink water
Water is quite possibly the single most important catalyst in losing weight and keeping it off longer term.
Water acts as an appetite suppressant by keeping your stomach full and fending off dehydration which can lead to false cravings/hunger.
Water also helps your body metabolize stored fat by helping the kidneys flush out waste. When you don't drink enough water the liver which works to provide stored fat for energy helps the kidneys eliminate waste and becomes less effective at metabolizing fat.
Drinking water ice cold burns about 62 calories a day. Your body has to work to raise that waters temperature to your body's temperature. This equals around 430 calories per week.
2. Eat regularly
This means eating 5 times a day and the most important meal is breakfast.
Make sure you fuel your body first thing in the morning to avoid hunger pangs later in the day.
When you eat 5 times a day you will never feel hungry, make sure the total calories consumed are sensible and don't over eat in any of the meals learn portion size control!
3. Eat lots of fibre
Eating adequate fiber foods to help keep things moving through your bowel. And like water, fiber rich foods bulk you up and make you feel fuller for longer.
Fibre is found only in plant foods our bodies cant digest it to so it simply goes through the body. During the elimination process it cuts calories consumed by attaching to protein and fat that you eat along with it removes that as well
In addition, high fiber foods are typically low in calories and filling, so you are reducing your calorie intake overall.
Good fibre foods include: strawberries, apples, figs, chickpeas, potatoes, (with skins) broccoli, brown rice, beans, bran and nuts.
4. Consume more good fats
There are good fats and bad fats
Good fats provide you with essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acids) needed for normal reproduction and growth, as well as for production of prostoglandin, a hormone like compound that regulates blood pressure, prevents blood clotting and lowers the risk of heart disease.
For example, the reason oily fish is a great food stems from the fact that the essential fatty acids which it contains can actually help your body burn fat more efficiently and protect against disease. Get at least three portions of oily fish a week with Salmon, mackerel, herrings and sardines being good choices. 5. Get plenty of quality protein
Quality protein is an effective weight control tool because of the satiety factor and its ability to keep you full for longer periods. It also balances out carbohydrates by preventing insulin spikes that cause energy loss and sugar cravings
Protein helps to maintain muscle mass which is important in the fat burning process.
Good choices include:
Fish, shrimps, Low fat cottage cheese, low fat yogurt, skimmed milk, egg whites, s Weight gain is caused by consuming too many calories, whether they are from carbohydrate, protein or fat.
6. Carbohydrates can help you lose weight
Don't believe what you read about carbohydrates being bad for you, they can actually help you lose weight!
A diet containing good carbohydrates such fruits and vegetables, wholegrains and moderate in fat and calories, will result in weight loss
Good carbohydrates will also help you combat hunger pangs as they are slowly realized into the body.
When eating carbohydrates eat them "from the earth" with no refining or processing.
These include whole grains, vegetables; fruits and beans.
Sensible weight loss
If you have read the above you will see that it is not the food group, but the quality of the food in it that's important for fast weight loss.
