Alrite i got really confused here, Could anyone in simple language explain to me what is the difference between SRAM and DRAM and which one is faster and better ? Kinda looking forward to hear about pros and cons,
i would apperciate a good answer.

In contrary to the previous post, DDRAM is faster and better than SDRAM. SDR means 'synchronized data rate' and DDR means 'double data rate'. DD can carry twice as much as SD, meaning, it accesses and releases data twice as fast as SD. =)
Hope that helps!

SRAM needs no refreshing of data where as DRAM needs refreshing of data thousands of times per second or it will loose data stored in it.
SRAM is more reliable and faster than DRAM.
SRAM takes less time to access an information and make it available to computer for processing where as DRAM takes more time compared to SRAM.
