Are You Going Out or Staying In For Valentines's Day ?

A Couple of years ago I went out with my girlfriend at the time to a fancy restaurant in the heart of downtown.
The restaurant menu was amazing. The service was the best we ever had.
Unfortuately I thought I had enough money to cover the bill. When the receipt came I was out by $75.00. I had no idea what to do, but I did not panic. I tried keeping it a secret from my girlfriend by excusing myself to check my bank accounts.
Nothing!
I then called a few friends for help but most of them were worst off than me at the time. Eventually a friend came to my aid. But by then my girlfriend figured out what happened. The restaurant owner knew the story from the beginning and tried to employ one other waiter to keep my girlfriend distracted while I collected the money from a friend.
They kept giving her free shots of Grand Marnier. I thought that was hilarious and so did the owner. Because by the time I got back 20 mins later she was half crying but more than a little happy drunk on her favourite drink.
Suffice to say we left the restaurant very happy and without having to visit the kitchen.
But this year I'm staying in and doing something special.
What about you? Are you going out or staying in for Valentine's Day?

We're staying in. The weather has been pretty bad the past 24 hours, bad enough to close schools and everything so we're just probably staying in. Our school is having a VDay dinner, so that definitely will have to work for the time being.

Hi! welcome to myLot!
I'm staying in because I have to wait for my Husband call thru yahoo messenger he was working abroad and the idea of spending the hearts day together is thru call and that completes my valentines day.
But last year we spend the valentines day together and we just cook a delicious meal and have a candle light dinner in our terrace overlooking the lake it was a very romantic one.
