What grade should I teach?

I am currently attending college to become a teacher but I an having a difficult time choosing what grade level I want to teach. Do you have ay suggestions? I know I definately don't want to teach high school! What are the cons and pros to teaching elementary and middle school?

That's great. I am also in college to become a teacher. I am interning in elementary right now. I know I don't want to teach elementary. They are very whiny, He hit me, he's looking at me etc. Also you are responsible for teaching all the subjects. I prefer middle school because you teach one subject and the kids are not very whiny at this stage. I think the best way to decide is shadow a teacher in middle school and one in elementary school for a day. This will give you a look into what goes on.
