How do you RATE a discussion? / myLot

I keep hearing people, well seeing people, say they rate a discussion and so on. Am I missing something? Because they all say it's a mouse click away to rate this one and that one, but I have no idea how? Am I already doing it and I'm unaware of it? Tell me what to do or what I shouldn't do. HELP!!!!

I rate a discussion on how much writing the person has writen and how detailed it is and especially if they have highlighted the key aspects of what they are talking about

hallo Laydee83, I rate (+) in every respon that drop by my discussion, and i like to stay that way, the person that i rate (-) is the person that respond with no connection at all with my discussion and put links that i don't ask to. If the want refferals , why don't they make they own discussion? and ofcourse people that copy paste comments that making them gain lots and long respond to got more earning. they using me, and my discussion. I don't like it.

rate
